BTS Takes Over the US: Jimmy Fallon, NYC Banter, and Viral Moments! 🗽💜

Welcome back to the Kollection Seoul blog! If you’re like us, you’re already streaming ARIRANG on repeat and still recovering from the emotional rollercoaster of their Seoul comeback concert. But the boys aren't slowing down anytime soon. BTS has officially landed in the US for their global promotional run, and the chaos, charm, and talent are already in full swing!
Here’s a recap of everything you might have missed from their first week back stateside.
🌙 Taking Over The Tonight Show

BTS’s highly anticipated return to US television kicked off with a massive two-episode special on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. But this wasn't just a standard interview! The group surprised a few lucky fans in a studio setting, popping out to sing "Swim" together and creating some incredibly wholesome and hilarious memories.
During their sit-down with Jimmy, the boys got completely candid about reuniting after their mandatory military service. They wasted no time falling right back into their old dynamics—teasing each other about their cooking skills, their "low battery" energy levels, and playfully roasting each other's post-military physiques.
🗽 The NYC SWIMSIDE Event & Hilarious Confessions
The promotions continued with a high-profile appearance at the SWIMSIDE event in New York City, hosted by Suki Waterhouse. The boys treated the ARMY to electrifying live performances of their new tracks, including "Swim" and "2.0".
But the off-stage banter is what truly broke the internet. When asked about the "Swim" music video and if anyone disliked swimming, our favorite relatable king, Suga, deadpanned that he didn't enjoy it, before quickly correcting himself with a laugh: “No, no, wait... I don't hate swimming. I love 'Swim' the song. I just hate water.”
Jimin also had everyone in stitches with a cheeky remark about his post-work habits, stating, "I always take off my clothes when I get home," prompting RM to jokingly reply, "He is always naked... okay, too much information."
(Also, a massive shoutout to leader RM! Despite having to sit out the live choreography due to a minor ankle injury, he still managed to catch host Suki Waterhouse when she tripped on stage. What a gentleman!)
✈️ Counting Down to the ARIRANG World Tour

With the US promotional run successfully underway, the countdown to the 82-stop ARIRANG World Tour is officially on! Kicking off in Goyang this April before traveling the globe, the boys are ready to make history once again. Whether you’re mesmerized by Jimin’s flawless dancing, captivated by V’s undeniable stage presence, or waiting for Suga to drop the absolute hardest rap verses, this tour is shaping up to be legendary.
